Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Get the most from your spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, try shifting your family's Myrtle Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain discounts for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your rental search:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. 543 By The Sea-KING-OCEAN VIEW-Myrtle Beach Resort has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the host before you reserve your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine what is best for your trip.
  • Are you visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.

Know before you go:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • During arrival, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
