Our top Rental booking tips:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing the best vacation home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Walk to Restaurants has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.

Know before you go:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the host's information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. Contact the host immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
