*** UPDATE SOLD***
This 2 bed/2bath, oceanfront condo is PRIVATELY OWNED. We partner with an OFFSITE company for cleaning, linen/towel rental and maintenance. The unit was COMPLETELY remodeled November 2022.
This very sizable, 785 sq ft condo has all the amenities of home, and feels like an apartment, and not a hotel room. It has a completely supplied full sized kitchen (dishes, cookware, spices, silverware, kids's dishes, full sized appliances and a refrigerator with an ice maker). It opens up to the open concept dining for 6 and living room with a queen-sized couch sleeper, a 40" full swivel flatscreen intelligent TV, an ambience fireplace (it changes colors and can be used with or without heat). The oceanfront bedroom has a King bed and an ensuite bath/shower combo, a 40" flatscreen intelligent TV that glides down from the ceiling via remote control. There is a hall bath with a shower, 2nd enormous bedroom with a Queen bed and desk. A peaceful space for remote work or studying. It has a wrap view balcony with a view of the ocean, beach and city. The balcony can be accessed via the living room sliding glass door or the oceanfront bedroom swing door. The oceanfront bedroom has a wall of windows for spectacular vistas, but they are also covered with thermal drapes for additional temperature comfort and darkening if desired. The resort has 2 outdoor pools, one is heated year-round, three oceanfront hot tubs, an arcade, vending, a gym, sauna, a seasonal restaurant (May 31 - Sept 5), and an indoor pool and hot tub, currently being repaired.

Vacation rental home tips:

When to visit & When to reserve a rental home:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To find the best value, try changing your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warmer temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guides have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration your family needs. The Palace Resort Unit 513 has 2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is right for your group.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, search for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge additional pet fees.

Tips to have a terrific stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Note any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
