How to find the best rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • To book the most suitable rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Start by selecting the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. 14th-floor ocean-view studio with pool, hot tub, WiFi & hot tub - snowbird-friendly has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before reserving the vacation property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, browse properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the host's contact information to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. Contact the host right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
