Welcome to Mariner’s Cove! Just steps from the beach, let our family-owned condo become part of your beach vacation tradition!

Our 2-bedroom, 2-bath beach condo is conveniently located on the first floor so no need to strain your body dragging all your suitcases and beach gear up & down multiple flights of stairs. The master bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom comes with 2 twin beds. For bigger families, the living room is equipped with a queen-size pull out couch. There is a flat screen TV with cable in the family room as well as in both bedrooms - and there is complimentary WiFi! Our kitchen comes completely equipped (refrigerator, stove, microwave, keurig, toaster, dishwasher, etc.) and supplied with all the cooking basics.

After calming on the beach or soaking up the sun next to the private community pool, perhaps you’ll venture out! Mariner’s Cove is centrally located between two major shopping and activity centers – Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing – where you can find every kind of food under the sun and savor attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium, Wonderworks, Alligator Adventures, and many more. You will also be mere mins. from top-notch golf courses, Pirate's Voyage, The Carolina Opry, the Tanger Outlets, Apache Pier, and more mini golf than you can shake a club at – plenty of fun for the whole family!

If you like to prepare at home, the close by Kroger and Walmart have everything you need to make use of the condo's full kitchen and the outdoor gas grilles located right next to the pool. Or you can walk over to the Straw Market, where you can find a modest grocery store, pizza, subs, beer and wine, and ice cream. If you prefer to dine out – choosing between all the phenomenal eateries will be your only challenge: Bimini’s at the Beach and Rockefellers Raw Bar are family favorites!

Finest of all, you don't need to drive to appreciate some relaxing entertainment. Ocean Annie’s (voted one of Myrtle Beach’s Top 10 pool bars) is a short walk across the street and features live music and simple access to the beach. Flip Flops Bar and Grille, Harry the Hats (don't ask), and Finn McCools are all in painless walking distance if you want to get those additional steps in at the end of the day. And when you come back to the condo, be sure to enjoy some time in the screened porch, listening to the calming sounds of the ocean waves, as you have a final nightcap while planning your next day's adventure!

Our condo also has a convenient washer and dryer in the unit, so those wet suits and towels will quickly be dry for another round at the beach or pool, an excursion to Shark Wake Park (water obstacle & rope courses) or perhaps a lazy day at Myrtle Waves Waterpark!

The condo comes with 2 guest parking passes for the private tons during your stay.

Check in at 4 pm. Check out at 10 am.

Our top Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

Find your perfect rental:

  • The earlier you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summertime is high season in Myrtle Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to choose and book a perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Coveted Shore Drive 1st Floor Condo - steps from the beach! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally available online. If not, email or call the property owner before you book the vacation property. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent many difficulties.
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • At Check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and places you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
