Ours is a 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home that sleeps 14 people comfortably. What sets this home apart from other homes in the area is the location on gorgeous Magnolia Lake and the close proximity to the ocean. It was constructed to maximize the view of the ocean, but it's also on a peaceful cul de sac that is away from the noise of the park. PEACEFUL is the word that describes this home. Fishermen appreciate that they can fish right from our home. There are 2 enormous decks where you can gather as a group or get away for sunbathing. It is well furnished and all linens are available. There are few other homes in the Ocean Lakes complex that are as clean and well constructed as this one. People who stay here always tell us that this is their favorite home at Ocean Lakes.

Tricks and tips to get the very best vacation property experience:

When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to reserve a rental home:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to pick the best vacation rental:

  • Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Quiet Lake House with Spectacular Ocean View has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is regularly available on booking websites. If not, email the property manager before you reserve your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Note any damages to the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
