Tips to get the perfect rental experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best rental for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Booking your rental six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

- Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a excellent stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it.
