Join the naturalist from Huntington Beach State Park for a 2-hour guided paddle through Murrells Inlet. Learn about our amazing Salt Marsh Ecosystem and the plants and animals that inhabit it. Watch for Herons, Egrets, Wood Storks, Bald Eagles, Osprey, ducks and many other birds. This is the bird lovers paradise. You may even see the occasional Sea Turtle, Dolphin, and even Jellyfish.
Description
The salt marsh is directly connected to an inlet from the ocean, which does allow for higher winds and stronger currents. Some kayak experience is preffered but not required.
