This isn’t the kind of event where you stand in lines or rush through crowds. It’s a cozy, outdoor celebration where families slow down, sip hot chocolate by the fire, laugh together under the stars, and rediscover the simple magic of Christmas.

We intentionally keep ticket numbers low each night so every guest can relax, explore, and soak in the spirit of the season. Bring your loved ones, breathe in the cool night air, and let the twinkle lights and laughter remind you what the holidays are all about.

Christmas at the Outpost is open from 5 PM to 9 PM and guests are welcome to arrive and leave anytime during that window.

A Christmas Experience You Will Never Forget

????Santa's Workshop????

Step into Santa’s cozy workshop where every child gets a real moment to talk with Santa and share their Christmas wishes. No long lines, no rush, just genuine smiles and the opportunity to take some keepsake photos that capture the wonder of the season.

????Holiday Movie & S'mores by the fire????

Curl up by the fire pit, watch your favorite Christmas movies, and roast delicious Christmas s’mores under the Carolina night sky. It’s everything you love about the holidays wrapped into one perfect evening. The movie will play from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.

????Reindeer Games????

Let the kids run wild with festive fun while completing our Christmas Scavenger Hunt that includes questions and challenges. Some of the fun activities they will find: Snowball Battle, The Great Elf Hunt and other fun games for kids and adults. Every laugh, every squeal, every snowball toss adds to the magic.
At 7:30 PM we will hop on stage to host some fun Christmas games that kids and adults can participate in for a fun time and to win a prize.

????Christmas Crafts and Letters to Santa✉

Every child will receive a free ornament to decorate and take home, plus a letter to Santa to fill out and drop into our giant red mailbox before the night ends.

????Owl Prowl????

At 8:30 PM we will do our traditional owl call which typically brings in 2 - 5 of our Barred Owl friends for a short visit, a great picture taking opportunity overhead!

????Treehouse Raffle????

Every ticket to Christmas at the Outpost includes a free $10 raffle entry for a chance to win a two-night stay in our private two-bedroom Treehouse on our 48-acre island, valued at $600.
Guests can purchase additional raffle tickets during the event to increase their chances of winning this unforgettable getaway.

????The Christmas Kitchen????

Warm up with festive favorites like hot chocolate, Christmas goodies, popcorn, and sweet s’mores while you relax by the fire and enjoy the evening’s activities.

• Location: River Island Adventures, 1249 Vera Road, Longs, SC — seven miles from downtown North Myrtle Beach off Highway 90. Turn at Starr Bluff Road and follow the signs.
• Hours: 5 PM to 9 PM
• Parking: Free, available in the lot or along the road.
• Restrooms: Five restrooms on site.
• What to Bring: Dress warmly, wear comfortable shoes, and don’t forget your camera.
