Depending on conditions, you might hook into Vermilion Snapper, Yellowedge Grouper, Amberjack, Gray Triggerfish, Scamp Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, and who knows what else! On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle.

Trips with McKinley Charters are kid-friendly, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Capt. Scott operates a 30' Grady-White center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
