• You must ARRIVE 30 MINUTES EARLY for your check-in. Failure to do so will result in lost time from your rental and you will not be refunded any amount.
• You must be 18 or older with a valid license to drive. Additionally, anyone born after July 1, 2007 must have a boaters license to operate a watercraft in SC. You can obtain a temporary boaters license online at https://www.boat-ed.com/southcarolinarental/
• All drivers must have their drivers license with them when they check in. IDs, passports, or any other form of identification will not be accepted in place of a valid drivers license.
• You must have the physical credit or debit card that was used for the booking with a matching ID to verify payment. Failure to bring the card will result in a loss of the rental with no refund, unless you provide another payment method, in which case the original card will be refunded.
• We will hold the card in the office while you are on the water in case of damages. You are responsible for the full amount of any damages incurred during the rental period.
• Anyone going on the jet skis must complete the online waiver prior to arrival. The waivers will be sent in a separate email from <noreply@vquiprentals.com> with a subject line that says "Action Required!"
• Anyone who appears to be under the influence of any alcohol or narcotics will not be permitted on the Jet Skis and there will be no refund issued. This determined excusively by the Ride the Tide Jet Ski Adventures staff. If we get any smell or alcohol or drugs, or you are acting in a way that makes us suspicious then you will be turned away without a refund.
  -If you are doing a Jet Ski Dolphin watching rental, please understand dolphins are wild animals they are not captive or trained. We are not guaranteed to see them. Our staff will try our best to locate them but there are many factors that affect the success rate that are out of our control such as ocean condition, boat traffic, your driving abilities, and the dolphins location at that particular time of day. There is not a certain time of day that is better or worse to see dolphins.

What to Bring

Be able to show confirmation of completed waivers. Waivers are sent from a separate email <noreply@vquiprentals.com> with subject line "Action Required"
Valid Drivers License
Credit or Debit card that was used for the booking with a matching ID
Wear a bathing suit, or anything you don't mind getting wet.
Your brain! Common sense goes a long way on the water, please be aware this is a potentially dangerous activity. We want everyone to be safe and have a good time and will not hesitate to end your rental early if you cannot operate in a safe manner. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR MAIN PRIORITY.
