Pets, including service animals, are not allowed on board as this can be stressful for even the most calm-natured animals. We do not want animals under any undue duress.
**** Please Note: Our Captains and Crew rely heavily on tips as part of their pay. Please feel free show our Captains and Crew your appreciation after the trip directly. Tips do not go to the company.
Health and Safety Policy
Your health and safety are of our utmost importance here at Uncharted Waters. We have special measures in place to ensure you enjoy your day on the water with us.
Safety Equipment
Our vessels “Chasin” Scales” and "Chasin' Tales" are equipped with the latest technology in GPS, Radar, and Satellite Monitoring to ensure we are constantly in contact with Emergency Services ashore and at sea. Both vessels are also equipped with life jackets, first aid kits, and all required United States Coast Guard safety equipment.
Health
At Uncharted Waters we value cleanliness as much as we do safety and therefore put an equal emphasis on cleaning. “Chasin Scales” and "Chasin Tales" are cleaned and sanitized after every trip. Including the onboard restroom, ensuring you and your guests comfort while at sea or even enjoying a remote day on the island. Soap, hand sanitizer, and cleaning agents are carried on every trip to handle any unforeseen messes.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT
Activity: Dolphin watching tour, including but not limited to boat travel and potential in-water activities such as swimming and snorkeling.
WARNING: This activity involves inherent risks, which may include:
Risks of the Sea: Equipment failure, perils of the sea, harm from marine creatures (including bites), and activities on the docks.
Physical Exertion: Entering and exiting the water, boarding or disembarking the boat, and navigating the vessel.
Potential for Injury: Scratches, bruises, sprains, concussions, and potentially catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death.
Wildlife Interactions: Dolphins are wild animals and their behavior is unpredictable.
Weather Conditions: Unpredictable movements of the boat due to waves, and cancellation of the tour due to adverse weather.
By participating in this activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Voluntary Participation: You are voluntarily participating with full knowledge of the dangers involved.
Assumption of Risk: You assume all risk and responsibility for any injury, death, or property damage resulting from your participation.
Physical Condition: You are physically fit to participate in the activity, and you will not hold the tour operator responsible if you are injured as a result of any medical problems.
Safety Instructions: You agree to follow all instructions given by the crew and acknowledge that disregarding safety instructions may result in removal from the activity.
No Guarantees: Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, as they are wild animals.
Waiver of Liability: You waive and release any claims against the tour operator for any loss, damage, or injury that may result from your participation.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the tour operator from any claims made by you or others as a result of your participation.
Emergency Medical Treatment: You consent to receive medical treatment if deemed advisable in the event of injury.
Photography and Media: You agree to allow your likeness to be used for promotional purpose
Purchasing and willingly participating in any of the Uncharted Waters activities is acknowledgement and acceptance of the Health and Safety Policy by all parties engage in activities.
