Will I Receive Actual Tickets?
No physical tickets are issued. Your confirmation email and the name you used to book are all you need. At check-in, simply provide the name on your reservation.
Will I Get a Reminder?
Yes! You’ll receive an email with check-in instructions on the day of your show.
What Should I Wear?
Casual dress is fine, but many guests choose business casual or nicer attire, especially for the Motown show.
What Does GTS Stand For?
GTS stands for "Gatsby" – reflecting our theatre’s Art Deco décor.
Will My Group Be Seated Together?
If you booked separately, seating together is not guaranteed. If you noted on your reservation that you’re part of a group, we’ll do our best to accommodate, but we cannot promise it.
What Happens in the Event of a Hurricane or Tropical Storm?
If a WARNING or EVACUATION ORDER is in place, shows are canceled, and a gift card valid for two years will be issued.
If there’s no warning or evacuation order, shows proceed as scheduled.
Is the Theatre Indoors?
Yes! GTS Theatre is a fully indoor venue, maintained at a comfortable 69°F year-round.
Is Dinner Served?
No dinner is served. We offer a snack bar with popcorn, candy bars, and drinks. Please dine beforehand at one of Myrtle Beach’s local restaurants, and allow extra time as many are short-staffed.
Is Alcohol Served?
We do not serve hard liquor. However, you can purchase a souvenir cup ($7), which includes a complimentary beer, wine, soda, or water.
Why Can’t You Seat Late Arrivals?
Late arrivals disrupt the performance. Doors open at the front, and guests enter between the stage and VIP section, making it impossible to seat without disturbing others. Please arrive early and enjoy the full experience.
Can I Record or Take Photos During the Show?
No audio or video recording is allowed; violators will be removed without a refund.
Flash-free photos are allowed.
Cast photos are available for purchase at the snack bar.
We may record portions of the show for our Facebook page.
How Should I Treat the Staff?
With kindness and respect! Many of our staff members are seniors, and we value creating a welcoming environment for everyone.
Are Bags Searched?

What if I Need to Leave Early?
Please notify a staff member to assist with your exit. Walking out unassisted disrupts the show and the audience.
