As the sun begins its descent, make your way to our enchanting River Island Outpost for an evening that promises to be as sweet as it is spooky! A fun night for the entire family!
Costumes
Dress in your favorite Halloween costume for an evening of yummy treats and spooky stories around the campfire.
Upon arrival, take a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere of our decorated Outpost. Hammocks, swings, restrooms, and changing rooms await you during our breezy check-in process. Here, you'll make a choice: glide on our pontoon boat or paddle your own single or tandem kayak, guided by one of our Adventure Guides alongside you, for a half-mile journey down the river to our secluded island.
As we navigate the river's gentle curves and turn the corner, behold the magic unfold before you. The island comes to life with the warm glow of tiki torches, a crackling fire pit, and the twinkle of beautiful bistro lights.
Spooky S'mores
Beside the inviting fire pit awaits our Spooky S'mores bar. Here, you'll find all the fixings and instructions to create a variety of tantalizing s'mores variations: Pumpkin Peeps, Ghost Marshmallows, Reese's Rippers and more!
Creepy Campfire Story
After relishing as many s'mores as your heart desires any brave souls are welcome to follow your guide for a walk through the woods to the abandoned cabin....if you dare. There we will gather around the fire to hear the Legend of the One-Eyed Owl and maybe....if we are "lucky" have a visit from the One-Eyed Owl.
FREE Halloween Movie
Once everyone has their fill of s'mores and spooky stories we will head back up river to our Outpost where you are welcome to hang around the fire pit and watch a FREE Halloween movie on our outdoor screen. We will be selling popcorn, sodas and snacks during the movie.
Halloween Camping
Book one of our Wooded Campsites, Glamping Tents or our 2 bedroom Treehouse on the island and make a night of it so you don't have to go home!

When To Arrive:
Adventures/Experiences:Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your reservation time to have time for everyone to sign the waiver forms, use the restroom, receive instructions, etc. You are more than welcome to enjoy the swings, hammocks, propane grill, fire pit, yard games and picnic tables at our 1 acre Outpost before and/or after your trip adventure or experience between the hours of 10 am - 5 pm.
