Welcome to Emerald Blue, our Freshly refreshed/updated 2 bed/2 bath condo in the Grandiose Palms at Deerfield community. Its ideally located between Hwy 17 Business and 17 Bypass, just 1.5 miles from the 16th Ave. N beach access point and convenient to every Surfside luxury. Emerald Blue has roomy open plan living/kitchen/dining, cathedral ceilings and tons of closet space. Tired of overpaying and staying in cramped quarters? You can stay in luxury and not break the bank w/ this one!

This cavernous and comfortable condo is located in the heart of Surfside Beach and close to downtown Surfside and the charming and brand new Surfside Pier. Included is a completely outfitted eat in kitchen and comfortable living room to relax and appreciate family time. The downstairs primary bedroom has a king bed, en suite bathroom and walk in closet.  The 2nd floor loft bedroom has 2 full sized beds, a private en suite bath and spacious walk in closet.

The Neighborhood:
Located between Business Hwy 17 and Hwy 17 Bypass, Grand Palms at Deerfield is right in the middle of Surfside Beach with simple access to eateries, shopping and tons of amenities. There are 3 grocery stores, Target and Walmart within 3 miles or 10 mins. drive. Some of our favorite eateries like the Wooden Spoon (brunch spot), Surfside Pizza (downtown Surfside), The Bar-B-Q House and Johnny D's Waffles (breakfast and brunch) are right around the corner. There are additional eateries and great shopping destinations in the Market Common where you can walk the nighttime away with the whole family. Don't forget to check out our Guidebook on Airbnb!!

Getting Around:
Just 15 mins. from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Uber will get you to the property for about $20-25. You can rent a gas powered golf cart to get around during your stay if you don't plan on going super far and there is access to get to amenities and the beach by golf cart during the day. Please no electric carts as there aren't charging stations.

Other Things to Note:
We provide you with linens for all beds in the home as well as bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your stay. Additionally, there will be a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand and dish soaps and 2 laundry and dish pods. All of this is included with the "cleaning fee". You will want to bring pool/beach towels for your stay and we recommend renting beach umbrellas and chairs locally to make your stay even more delightful.

When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, shift your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, , and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have coupons for nearby accommodations and attractions.

  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the owner's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, stereo or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of issues.
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
