This condo is located in Surfside Beach just 1.5 miles to the closest beach access. This tidy condo includes a full eat in kitchen and comfortable living room to relax and appreciate family time.

The Space:
There is a very roomy primary bedroom with king bed and an en suite bathroom, cavernous closet and separate exterior entrance. The 2nd bedroom features 2 full beds and a hall bathroom. Located inside Grand Palms, this condo is quietly tucked away but right in the middle of Surfside Beach, "The Family Beach" and close to pretty eateries and fun beach activities!

The Neighborhood:
Located between Business Hwy 17 and Hwy 17 Bypass, Grand Palms at Deerfield is right in the middle of Surfside Beach with simple access to eateries, shopping and tons of amenities. There are 3 grocery stores, Target and Walmart within 3 miles or 10 mins. drive. Some of our favorite eateries like the Wooden Spoon (brunch spot), Surfside Pizza (downtown Surfside), The Bar-B-Q House and Johnny D's Waffles (breakfast and brunch) are right around the corner. There are additional eateries and great shopping destinations in the Market Common where you can walk the nighttime away with the whole family. Don't forget to check out our Guidebook on Airbnb!!

Getting Around:
Just 15 mins. from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. Uber will get you to the property for about $20-25. You can rent a gas powered golf cart to get around during your stay if you don't plan on going super far and there is access to get to amenities and the beach by golf cart during the day. Please no electric carts as there aren't charging stations.

Other Things to Note:
We provide you with linens for all beds in the home as well as bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your stay. Additionally, there will be a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand and dish soaps and 2 laundry and dish pods. All of this is included with the "cleaning fee". You will want to bring pool/beach towels for your stay and we recommend renting beach umbrellas and chairs locally to make your stay even more enchanting.

About the Area

Located in Surfside Beach, this condo is by the sea. The Market Common and Broadway at the Beach are worth checking out if shopping is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's popular attractions can visit Family Kingdom Amusement Park and Ripley's Aquarium. Wild Water and Wheels and Old Time Pottery are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected everything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to stimulate more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
