Strategies for getting the perfect rental home experience:
When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Planning, selecting, and booking the bestrental home:
- Start by choosing your a vacation week and a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration you need. Antique 1958 Spartan Camper Trailer, Ocean Lakes Cmpgrnd, I-33.Golfcart included has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book the property. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- If your group is traveling with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.
More considerations:
- Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make sure no damages are linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. text the rental manager immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Just before checking out, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on great reviews to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
