There's no medicine for boredom like some Myrtle Beach sunshine! Our home is the ideal place to hideaway with your family without dealing with heavily trafficked hotels! Located directly on the waterway, mins. from beach and downtown.
3 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, Foosball table, Themed bedrooms, cornhole, fish, swim or just relax as you watch boats sail by. Lots to do for everybody!

All sheets/pillows/blankets/towels/beach towels are supplied. We have a Foosball table and guitar available. The kitchen is completely outfitted with amenities of home (Keurig coffee maker, toaster, griddle). Our home is an upper/lower Duplex. The upper floor is the only part we are renting. We currently have a tenant downstairs.

You will have the “whole home”, this includes the upper unit only. There is a tenant in the downstairs apartment. You will have access to the backyard and dock. However, this is a shared space. Guests will not have access to the boat tied up to the dock.

We are available any time though the app.

It’s a peaceful street away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps, with vistas of the ICW from family room, master bedroom and kitchen. Everything you could ever want to do while in Myrtle Beach is a short drive away.

There is room for 3 cars in the driveway. The home is 6.7 miles from the beach. We are 15 mins. from just about everything.

We offer our guests a few extras. If you would like we have a car you can use for $50 a day during your stay with us. We also have a state park pass that you can use to visit all of our magnificent state parks. We appreciate the Myrtle Beach State Park for its gorgeous clean beaches, showers, bathrooms, covered picnic areas, playground and camping.
- Please, don’t use the bath towels outside. Plenty of beach towels are supplied.

- We live in a peaceful community and we’re all for having a good time, we just ask that you turn the volume down by 10pm.

-Try not to use any metal silverware while using the (white) nonstick pans.

*If you need anything for the home that we don’t already provide, please feel complimentary to reach out and request it. If it’s not there, it’s just because we hadn’t thought of it. Especially if it’s something future guests would find useful.*

CHECKOUT:
-Please, strip the sheets off the beds that where used down to the bed covers and pace them in the washing machine. They won’t all fit so there’s no need to over fill it. I’ll start the machine when I get there. Feel complimentary to leave the quilts/comforters in their assigned rooms. I’ll take care of them later.
-Also, please load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start the load before you leave.
-Your welcome to leave any food in the refrigerator that didn’t get used. I’ll make sure it doesn’t go to waste.
Please, remember to return the Beach Pass. And home keys.

-I hate that I even have to put this in writing, but... if the POLICE have to come out to the home for ANY reason, that is terms for an immediate evection without reimbursement. Please, just keep it classy.

Tricks and tips to get the optimal Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

How to pick the best vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Canal House on the ICW w Dock has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before you reserve your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent many concerns.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
