While the Sea Mist is a 65-year old complex, we went above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we savor the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.
The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.
While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Strategies to get the best vacation property experience:
When to go & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies often offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides that include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
How to choose and book the perfectrental home:
- Select a designated group leader, select your dates, and select a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. King studio -ocean view! Sea mist 51012 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property manager before reserving your home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your vacation group.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your invoice.
- Is your family looking for specific amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
Tips to have a fantastic stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of issues.
- Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
