How to book the best rental experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose and book a perfect Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Start by having your group decide on a vacation week and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Landmark Resort unit 1114 is located on the 11th floor. has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or costs applied to your agreement.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of concerns.
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be very helpful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent ratings to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
