Booking the best rental home experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitor guides have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
