How to find the best vacation property experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
- Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation rental in the Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guides contain discounts for local tours and attractions.
Choosing the perfect vacation home:
- Select dates and spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. FS6123 Myrtle Beach Resort: Perfect Courtyard View Condo has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property owner before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out which bed configuration is right for your vacation family.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- Are you looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters for amenities. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
Advice for a wonderful stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Save the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
- Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Keep the property locked while you're away! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
- To make sure damages aren't linked to your visit, record any problem areas during arrival. Contact the host right away to document any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
