Appreciate gorgeous ocean vistas in our direct oceanfront one bedroom condo directly on the beach in beautiful Myrtle Beach. Just a 9 min. walk to the boardwalk in downtown Myrtle Beach yet just far enough from the congestion !
Don’t be fooled by one of the older resort buildings on the beach. Many resorts were constructed in the 60’s and 70’s and try to look newer. Not this one ! The Boardwalk Resort was constructed in 2002 and is one of the newer resorts on the beach. The resort also lacks the zoo-like feel of other overcrowded resorts. This resort has 150 suites (compared to 300-400) so you will never fell squeezed out using our amenities
Our location is ideal ….within walking distance to the boardwalk but not too close to the core which can be a little loud during the fashionable months. There are many eateries, stores within walking distance, including a Starbucks, 4 mins. away by foot.
You will adore our grounds and pool area which features 2 pools, including one protected from the rain. You can also relax in our enormous lazy river, kiddie pool or 2 hot tubs. The best feature may be the giant lawn overlooking the ocean with a ton of lounge chairs to bask in the Grandiose Strand sun. We are direct oceanfront so you can walk directly from our lawn to the beach. You are just steps away from the Atlantic ocean
This is a true one bedroom condo, not a “studio” unit. The living area, kitchen and bedroom are all separated by doors for privacy when needed. The bedroom features 2 queen size beds, a 50” flatscreen TV and ample drawer space. The bathroom features a full size jetted tub (which is a rare find) for complete calming message. The living room includes all new furnishings, a humongous 65” wall mounted TV , a 4 person gathering table, and a Murphy bed, The condo features laminate floor. Step out from the living room to your private balcony with striking 180 degrees vistas. Our kitchen contains everything you will need including pots, pans, flatware, eating and cooking silverware, coffeemakers, toaster, and blender. We provide a 4 burner stove with oven and a microwave. The refrigerator
is full size.
And a word about beds. We have found over the years that nobody enjoys their vacation if they do not sleep well. Our queen size beds contain 10" memory foam beds. We change our beds at the first sign of wear. You will sleep VERY well. The beds are supported by an articulating base which is motor driven to allow you adjust your back angle when you feel like reading or watching TV. And we provide another 50" TV in the bedroom.

Myrtle Beach vacation rental home tips and tricks:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the best value, change your trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby tours and attractions.
How to choose the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- Choose a group leader, choose your vacation week, and select a budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Direct oceanfront, separate bedroom, full kitchen - rates lower than last year ! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is often available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is best for your vacation group.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or may be applied to your contract.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .
More tips for your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few problems.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
- Upon check-in, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you have not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
