Summary:
Appreciate the Panoramic vistas of the Atlantic Coastline. This charming 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located on the 10th floor gives ceiling to floor glass for natural light, direct oceanfront vistas and vistas of the Family Kingdom Amusement Park which is just a short walk away (closed in winter). Ocean front pools, indoor and outdoor, lazy river, hottub, and splash area are available for everybody to savor.

The Space:
Pros: -Great view with painless check in -Washer and Dryer in the unit -Generous living space -Two king size beds -Over half of the unit is floor to ceiling of windows which accepts you to view the beach and the city at the same time Cons: -Looking to get the kitchen cabinets replaced due to wear and tear -Guests have complained about other units around them leaving the hallways smelling of smoke (cigarettes & marijuana) This is out of our control as we only own the unit not the building -Feeling particles of sand on the floors when walking barefoot. The floors are hard to get every granule of sand off the floor as we are at the beach and it is in the air

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the indoor and outdoor pool areas in addition to the various amenities that the Oceans One Resort offers. However, the beach is the number one draw. The guest cannot hold the host responsible for resort controlled amenities. (inoperable pools, hot tubs, balconies)

Getting Around:
Walking distance to Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Eateries, Shopping and more. Uber/Lyft are a fashionable form of transportation in Myrtle Beach.

Tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
  • To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to select the perfect rental home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Views for miles from the 11th floor - 1101 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is optimal for your trip.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or could be applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking

More considerations:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • During check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
