WANT PAYMENTS? Do not click on "request to book" if you want to spread out the payments. Scroll down to the property manager section and Click on "send a message" and then ask me for either 2 or 3 payments. I can then edit the payment schedule to change from 1 payment to multiple payments. The entire amount is charged if you "request to book" and I click on “accept booking”. There isn’t an additional fee for spreading out the payments.
Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is a 1st floor unit in the family friendly Arcadian section of Myrtle Beach. This is not a hotel with a reception desk. There is 24 hour access with a keyless entry on our door. We are the 2nd row from the beach, roughly 100 yards walk to the beach. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, there is a sleeper couch, not as comfortable as beds, that will accommodate 2 more guests. TOWELS and LINENS are NOT supplied. Blankets and bedspreads are supplied. A supply of toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags is included.
There is a pool at our building, A Place at the Beach V “B” building. There is also a pool at the “A” building that is located on the beach front that is available for your use. Charcoal grilles are located adjacent to the pool and are available on a first-come, first- served basis.
The kitchen is entirely equipped with a refrigerator, stove, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and silverware. The condo has an air conditioner in the living room and master bedroom, and there are ceiling fans in every room. There is not an air conditioner in the 2nd bedroom, but there is a ceiling fan. During the hot summer weather, it is best to leave the bedroom door open and let the air conditioning from the living area go into the bedroom at nighttime. Grandpa
There is a 55” TV in the living room with cable and internet access and another TV is in the master bedroom. GUESTS PROVIDE THEIR OWN TOWELS and LINENS. Coin operated washers and dryers are available on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor of our building. The machines takes quarters and costs $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry.
A complimentary parking pass must be displayed on your rearview mirror and accepts you to park right next to the building. Our KEYLESS ENTRY uses a keypad and a 4 digit code that accepts you convenient access to the unit without the need for check-in lines. An additional parking pass is available upon request.
The location is charming in terms of access to major highways and convenient to major shopping areas. We are a 5-7 mins. from the Tanger Outlets/Walmart shopping plaza, less than 15 mins. from Barefoot Landing (shopping, dining, entertainment) in N Myrtle Beach, and 20 mins. to Broadway at the Beach (shopping, dining, and entertainment) in Myrtle Beach. We are less than 10 mins. from “Restaurant Row” on business route 17/Kings Highway. Of course there are many golf courses in the area. Miniature golf, water parks, and many other family attractions are close by.
The “Straw Market” is across the street and open seasonally for convenient access to snacks, soft drinks, alcohol, and souvenirs. They also have golf cart and moped units. Next to the market is Flip Flops Bar and restaurant that is open year round. They have an indoor bar with tables for dining and during the summer season they provide nightly entertainment on the deck. You can also order food on the deck. An ice cream store and souvenir stores are also open seasonally.
A very fashionable nighttime spot is located within walking distance from our condo. Ocean Annie’s, open 8 months a year, is an outdoor beach bar and dance floor with complimentary entertainment from 1 to 11 pm. We like to bring our beach chairs and sit on the beach at nighttime and listen to the music while appreciating a cool drink. Apache Pier is within walking distance and costs $2 to enter and walk on the pier (additional costs for fishing). Before you enter the pier there is a gift shop and restaurant called Croakers.
The Carolina Opry and Pirates Voyage Dinner show are located next to each other, five mins. from the condo. The Alabama Theatre is next to Barefoot Landing in N. Myrtle Beach, about 15 mins. away. Alligator Adventure and Duplin Winery are also by Barefoot Landing.

Booking the best vacation home experience:

Get the most from your budget:

  • Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the largest rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Myrtle Beach attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, picking, and booking the bestvacation home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation week, and select a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. 2 Bedrooms\/2 Bath\/2 Minutes to Beach\/1st floor\/Shore Dr. area has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before you reserve the rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach destination you crave, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Know before you go:

  • Store the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Record any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately e-mail them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
