This modernized two bedroom two bath home inside award-winning ocean lakes family campground is conveniently located just steps away from the ocean and The water park inside the community. Extremely close to all the best amenities Ocean Lakes can provide. 2022 marks the first year this property is to be rented by us as it was freshly purchased and refreshed. NEW FLOORING IN 2023! Even after the updates in 2022 the floor was very dated and worn, and was usually where we got our negative feedback. If you have family staying in the RV section or you prefer to be close to the activities then this is a great location. Like most ground level homes in Ocean Lakes this is a camper with an addition. There is a bigger bathroom in the addition as well as a master bedroom. The Bunk room and bathroom in the camper section are sized as expected in a camper trailer. The living and dining room areas are fairly open for the size of the home.
This home is not as modern as many in Ocean Lakes, but we it is well kept and clean. This home is where my friends and family stay during their trips to Ocean Lakes. We personally adore the convenience and of being so close to Sandy Harbor Water Park and being near the campsites. During special events and Holiday times it is close to all the action.
Kitchen is full outfitted with all necessities. Coffee cups, coffee pot, pots and pans, silverware, dishes, etc.

How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
Getting the most from your budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is a good way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guides have deals for nearby shops and restaurants.
Planning and picking the rightrental:
- Select your vacation dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Ocean Lakes bungalow just steps from the ocean. has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is suitable for your vacation.
- Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to search for a rental that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
Tips for your stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the property manager immediately to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation rental. Please be objective.
