Summary:
Located in one of Surfside Beach's best neighborhoods, this handsome single family vacation home is its own ideal getaway to escape to. There is a very private and calming back yard with a enormous hand constructed patio with seating for 6, a super nice propane grille, and plenty of room for the kids to run around. You will be about 1 mile from the 16th Ave. N Surfside Beach access point and you will definitely want to rent a golf cart (gas powered only please) to take the fun route to the beach with everybody else from the neighborhood that does this daily!
The Space:
Step inside this delightfully well maintained and modern single family home and you will experience open plan living at its best with a cavernous living room with plenty of seating for the family, a 60" Roku TV including cable and fast wifi. Right next to the living space, you will find a dining table for 4 and kitchen with all brand new stainless appliances. Just off the kitchen, there is a mud room with a brand new full sized washer and dryer and access to the 1 car garage/golf cart barn. Step out of the slider door from the kitchen onto the patio getaway, painstakingly restored and gorgeously maintained by the homeowners. There you will find comfortable seating for 6 to dine outside morning, noon or nighttime. Don't forget the gas grille to have the whole family gather around for a bar-b-q!!
Guest Access:
The whole vacation home will be yours, not sharing any part of it with anyone and you will savor how private the back yard is, with no nosy neighbors or condo cramming to bother your tranquility.
The Neighborhood:
Located in Deerfield neighborhood of Surfside, you will be right in the middle of all the action Surfside Beach has to offer, without all the noise when you want to get away. Just 15 mins. north and you will be in Myrtle Beach with all of its attractions and 15 mins. south will bring you to astounding Murrells Inlet and the Marsh Walk, Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens.
Getting Around:
For a super fun vacation, we highly recommend renting a gas powered golf cart for rides to the beach and eateries. There are tons of people who do this every day and you will quickly be able to jump on someone's wheel and follow the wagon train of carts to the beach.
Other Things to Note:
We will provide all of your sheets and bath towels with the cleaning fee we charge as well as hand soaps, dish soap in the kitchen, a couple of laundry and dish pods, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom and a roll of paper towels to get you started for your stay. Please note we don't provide beach towels, umbrella or chairs, but we do have some pretty extraordinary beach chairs for rent very reasonably.
Interaction with Guests:
We follow our guests' lead regarding interaction. We are as available as you need us to be, but will leave you to appreciate your peace as well!

Rental home booking tips:
How to get the best rental value:
- To find the best rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Finding the perfect rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration you need. Backyard Oasis Golf Cart 2 Beach (By Beach Star) has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible on booking websites. If not, contact the property management company before booking the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your invoice.
More tips for your stay:
- Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas upon your arrival. Make contact with the property manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would back home.
- On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
