Strategies to get the very best vacation rental experience:

Finding the best value:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Book your rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have discounts for nearby tours and attractions.

Choosing the best rental home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Select your dates and budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Bali Bay 305 OF Myrtle Beach has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If not, reach out to the property manager before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You'll need to determine which bed configuration is best for your vacation.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

More considerations:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the host immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
