Tips and Tricks for getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserve your rental home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Finding the perfect rental in Myrtle Beach:

  • Select your vacation dates and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Beach Getaway Queen Efficiency 7th Flr has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is right for your group.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.

More tips for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the rental manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
