The search for your next vacation ends here! Whether you're planning a charming hideaway or a family trip, we have two beautiful oceanfront studios on the 15th floor at The Palace Resort in Myrtle Beach, both offering spectacular oceanfront vistas of the Atlantic Ocean.
The first unit is a cavernous oceanfront studio with a queen-size bed and a queen-size sleeper couch, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests. This condo has been completely remodeled as of April 2024 and features a fresh, modern look with new paint, charming LVP floor, a impressive rock accent wall with an LED fireplace, and all-new furnishings and decor. The kitchen is upsized compared to most studios at the resort, featuring new granite countertops, a full suite of stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and all the cookware you need to prepare a full meal. Whether you're appreciating breakfast at the counter or cooking up a family dinner, you'll savor the roomy, well-equipped kitchen.
The second unit is a comfortable yet chic studio featuring a king-size bed, ideal for up to 2 guests. Totally repainted in the fall of 2023 with warm, welcoming tones and new furnishings, this space is designed for relaxation with countless vistas of the ocean. The open layout includes a cozy seating area, bar stools at the island, and a enormous flatscreen TV. The kitchen, just like the first unit, is generously sized, with striking granite countertops and everything you need to make a meal, including a full-size dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster.
Both units offer a full-size bathroom with a shower/tub, toilet, and vanity, completely refreshed for a fresh, clean look. Guests will find everything they need for a hassle-complimentary stay, from bath towels and toiletries to basic “starter” items like toilet paper and soap.
Step outside onto the private oceanfront balconies in each unit and appreciate the pretty vistas. Many guests have spotted dolphins playing in the waves, and the sunrises and sunsets are simply elegant.
Located just 1 mile from the MYR International Airport and the Coastal Grandiose Mall, The Palace Resort is charmingly located close to shopping, dining, and a variety of attractions including theaters, mini-golf, go-karts, and much more. Strategies to get the optimal vacation rental experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Property managers frequently offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain coupons for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Begin by choosing your a vacation week and a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Beautiful 2 Bedroom Multi-Unit Suite! Oceanfront Palace 1501 and 1503 has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your family.
- Some properties allow pets, and some don't. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Some things to know before you go:
- Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
- Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are away, just like you would back home.
- Upon arrival, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the rental one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
