Tricks and tips to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting the best rental in Myrtle Beach:

  • Start by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Direct OCEANFRONT Just Remodel Myrtle Beach Resort has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the host before you reserve your rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your contract.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas when you arrive. Get in touch with the rental manager immediately to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great ratings to compel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
