Summary:
A Breezy Atlantic Coast Escape

It’s no surprise that families savor visiting Myrtle Beach. Sun, white sand and boardwalk games are hard not to adore. Deciding where to stay? That can be a bit trickier. Staying right on the beach gives you extraordinary vistas but oftentimes a smaller (and sometimes noisier) room. Staying further inland requires some driving back and forth, but gives you more room to spread out as a family.

The good news? There’s no need to choose… our South Beach Resort is right in the sweet spot, just one street across from the Atlantic Ocean. A fast two-min. walk will have you dipping your toes in the ocean or cooling off in the pool at our private beachfront clubhouse. Back at the resort, you can float down our calming lazy rivers, whoosh down giant waterslides, lounge by the lush Lagoon Pool, or sip a poolside drink. Then watch a charming South Carolina beach sunset right from your villa balcony. See? It’s the best of both worlds.

Tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To find the best rental home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting the perfect rental home in Myrtle Beach:

  • Begin by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Enjoy Family & Friends in a 2BD resort condo lots of amenities onsite including has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before you book the home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
  • If there's a specific Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking.

Advice for a smooth stay:

  • Add the owner's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure damages aren't linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the rental manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to stimulate new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
