Finding the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • To find the best rental home for your budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Planning, selecting, and booking a perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home:

  • First, have your family decide on a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Meridian Plaza 804 - Oceanfront! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly rental. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • Make a record of any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good feedback to propel more bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
