How to book the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, shift your family's Myrtle Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, , and reduced traffic.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Often, management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Selecting the best vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and choose a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Ocean Front 3 BR Condo Pelican Landing Step onto the beach has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible online. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before booking the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges might be applied to your invoice.

Additional considerations:

  • We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • During check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Double-check the property to make sure that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific stay? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
