Ocean Lakes is everything you could ask for in a family vacation. It has nearly a mile of beach and is a gated community/resort with all the amenities you will need. The brand new water park features amenities that you would find at local water parks…but is COMPLIMENTARY to Ocean Lakes guests. The park includes tall Mat Racer slide, Tube Slide, Lazy River and Pirate Themed kids splash zone. The recreation area also has an Olympic-size outdoor pool, an indoor heated pool, a snack shop that serves fast food and ice cream, shaded picnic areas, and tons of room for sunbathing. Putt putt golf course adjoins water park area.

Next to the pool is a humongous recreation building where you will find scheduled activities for young and old alike (bingo, ceramics, arts and crafts, ping pong tables, etc). Local entertainment (magicians, gospel singing, Luau shows) are scheduled often through the year. Ocean Lakes also sponsors many entertainment and specialty events throughout the year. There is a grocery store and a gift shop for your everyday needs. Security is 24/7 and is stringently enforced.
Ocean front recreation areas include enormous playground structures, shuffle board, basketball courts, bocce ball, horse shoes and volleyball. Check with the rec center regarding check out materials for these sports. Skateboard park is located under the sizable gazebo tower.
