Tricks and tips to get the very best rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the most suitable rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines have deals for local tours and attractions.

Planning and choosing your Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Select a group leader, choose your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. OCEANFRONT Condo - All the comforts of home!! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking pages. If not, email or call the host before booking the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
  • At Check-in, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your quiet neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
