Getting the best Myrtle Beach rental home experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
- Property managers usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Use filters to narrow your search:
- Select a group lead, select your trip dates, and choose a budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Oceanfront Deluxe King Suite : 2nd Floor has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
- Are you visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Some properties allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
Advice for a great stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your phone.
- Upon check-in, note any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your rental while you're away. Keep your property safe!
- When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
