Planning, selecting, and booking your prefect Myrtle Beach vacation home:
- Begin by choosing trip dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Recently Renovated Oceanfront One Bedroom Suite-Atlantica 803 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before you book the rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You will need to determine what is best for your group.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs might be applied to your contract.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking
Know before you go:
- Be sure you get the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. Put the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of issues.
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
- Make a record of any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great source for finding the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to propel more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be objective.
