Summary:
It's like a country club in the sky! Savor a opulent hideaway in this oceanfront penthouse-style condo on the 14th floor of the Maisons Sur Mer building on Shore Dr. on the north end of Myrtle Beach. With vistas to the NE, E, S, & SW, you can appreciate sunrises + sunsets from your balconies overlooking the white Grandiose Strand beaches. Country club amenities w/ a pretty pool, putting green, exercise facility, tennis courts, dining. Sleeps 6 across 3 beds + 1-2 on couches, w/ 2 full bathrooms.
The Space:
During peak season, which is May 1 - September 30, all reservations must be Saturday to Saturday 1+ weeks). During other times of the year we are flexible on start dates and length of trip, min. 2 nights.
Appreciate 14th floor sweeping vistas of the ocean, sunrises and sunsets -- it is ocean front from every room!
NO events, NO illegal activity, NO motorbikes allowed on the property, and NO underage groups (the person who books must be at at least 21 years old and also be a guest) — If we have to evict you from the property due to neighbor complaints, rule violations, or illegal activities you will not be refunded.
Maisons Sur Mer is like a country club hideaway! You will savor vistas of the ocean, beach, golf course, and inner-coastal waterways. There is a community pool, spa, billiard room, tennis courts, putting green, exercise center, restaurant, door to door trash pickup (through the chutes), clubhouse, theatre / movie room, game room, meeting room, and lounge. The building sits right on the beach, E of Rt. 17 off Lake Arrowhead Road on Shore Dr. near Ocean Annie's. There are elevators, and the room is one-story with balconies from every room. Your condo has a full kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, two seating areas, T.V.s, a sizable living room, and broad balconies with chair and chaise seating.

HURRICANE & TROPICAL STORM POLICY: As you know, hurricanes can hit the Atlantic coast. We also understand that disrupts travel plans. In the case of a hurricane, reservations canceled prior to landfall may not be completely refunded — if you cancel prior to landfall, predictions of where the eye will hit are often so incorrect that it’s possible you could’ve had a excellent vacation and canceled prematurely. This is why we do not refund prior to the hurricane making landfall. However, your stay will be partially or entirely refunded if the hurricane category 1 through 5 makes landfall within 25 miles of the home (NO refunds for tropical storms unless electric is out for more than 24 hours). Refunds will be issued for the day before landfall, the day of landfall, and two days following the day of landfall (prorated from your number of days and total rental amount). The other days will not be refunded unless the roads and area are impassible (closed), the home is too damaged to safely host guests, and/or the electricity remains off, all of which are unusual for this area. If you have any questions about this policy please ask the superhost before booking. By booking, you agree to this policy. We are very reasonable; we just don’t want storms being used as a reason to cancel a vacation well in advance and for otherwise no reason.
Guest Access:
You have access to the entire property! All of the amenities, too. Keys are supplied in the unit and must be returned.
The Neighborhood:
Maisons Sur Mer is located on Shore Drive on the north end of Myrtle Beach. WIthin walking distance you will find eateries, golf cart rental, coffee stores, bars, live music, ice cream shop, general store, Apache Pier, Dunes Lake / marsh area, the famed "swash", and more. Shore Dr. has sidewalks on both sides of the road.
Getting Around:
You may rent a golf cart, but it cannot be parked at Maisons Sur Mer. You may walk along the beach / sidewalks. You may bring your car or rent one, and park on the premises. Uber / Lyft serve the area.
Other Things to Note:
There is parking on site. At the front desk, there is a security guard 24/7 -- you will be required to sign in.
Sorry, no pets — the building does not allow them for guests. If you have a legitimate service animal that is trained to provide a task for you, inform us so we can share the building's requirements with you.
The building also does not allow boats, trailers, campers, motorhomes, jet skis, motorbikes, spyders, or golf carts to be parked on the property. If you make a reservation and your main mode of transportation is one of these, you need to have another place to park it or you should not make a reservation in this building. Security will not provide you with a parking pass for any of these cars. They will be towed.
Checkout is 9am ET. Check-in is 5pm or after but we will notify you when the condo is ready (it usually is mid afternoon).

About the Area
Located in Myrtle Beach, this condo is near theme parks and on the beach. Apache Pier and Cherry Grove Pier are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Myrtle Beach Beaches and North Myrtle Beach Beaches. Ripley's Aquarium and SkyWheel Myrtle Beach are not to be missed.
