While the Sea Mist is a 65-year-old complex, we have gone above and beyond to ensure that this unit is FAR from the average booking experience at a hotel. Past guests really adore the space, and we appreciate the fact that they treat it as if it were their own.

Sea Mist also offers many indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis, sauna, onsite eateries, a humongous arcade, and even more amenities for you and your family to savor before calming in this handsome unit. (Please note that the mini waterpark across street and movie theater are not available to our guests.)

The departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and linens. We really want to make your experience with us as economical as possible! Unlike many properties managed by other companies and homeowners, we can accommodate daily housekeeping and mid-stay cleaning requests for a modest fee.

While we do our absolute best to ensure that all of our condos are cleaned, prepared, and comfortable for all of our guests, we do want to note that this resort is over 60 years old. Our prices reflect the age of the resort, décor, and condition of the amenities. We encourage all of our guests to do their own due diligence on the resorts and the area on all of our listings!

Myrtle Beach rental booking tips and tricks:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides have offers and deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

How to choose the best rental home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Choose a group leader, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. Sea Mist Resort 51305 ocean view studio has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the property manager before you book your home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you long to visit, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Tips for your stay:

  • Put the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of problems.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • During arrival, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
