Our top Myrtle Beach rental property booking tips and tricks:

Find your best deal:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Planning, selecting, and booking a perfectrental:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family requires. Super Comfortable condo in center of Myrtle Beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking

During your stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Document any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
