The Vacation Rental By Owner calendar helps provide availability and estimated price quote. Always inquire with the agent and do not reserve airfare until your confirmation has been received.
Any issues with resort service, accommodations, physical plant, amenities, etc. are the direct responsibility of the developer and must be handled through the resort, not Concierge Realty. Photos are thought to be really representative of the resort and accommodations. Any variation from the photo and actual property are unintentional, so guests are encouraged to do their own due diligence prior to reserving including but not limited to contacting rental agent at Concierge Realty and contacting the resort. Specific view categories must be addressed with rental agent. Concierge Realty reserved the right to reserve any view category unless one has been discussed and agreed upon in writing. The resort confirmation will show the view designation and the villa will placed within that view category unless, in a rare instance the view will be noted as "not guaranteed" in which case the resort reserves the right to place the guest anywhere within the property. Issues regarding view within the guaranteed view category are to be addressed with the resort management as Concierge Realty is not responsible for villa placement.

Tricks and tips to get the very best rental experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Booking your vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to pick the best vacation rental:
- Begin by choosing vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Beautiful two Bedroom Suite at Marriott OceanWatch Villas at Grande Dune has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you are crazy about, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
- If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
More tips for your stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
- Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on good reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
