As you approach Harbour Lights, the tree-lined drive and lighthouse invite you to a world without care. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway less than five miles from the beach, the resort is an handsome oceanside-style community. Colorful pastel buildings, nautical villa decor and a wrap-around porch at the clubhouse exude our low-country appeal.

There’s plenty to do at Harbour Lights without even venturing to the close by Grandiose Strand. Bicycle or walk along striking winding roads. Float effortlessly along our lazy river or bathe yourself in a coastal Carolina sunset from the hot tub.

Don’t feel like going to the beach? Then spend the day with the kids at the pool and our poolside bar, Knot’s (open seasonally). Unwind with a “Key Lime Pie Smoothie” or a “South Carolina Tea" while the kids appreciate frozen fruit smoothies. And be sure to take a look at our food menu for great appetizers and combo meals or have an “I’m on Vacation Sundae.”

Our broad activities program, either at the pool or in the kids’ clubroom, will entertain the kids year-round. Young ones can cool off from the summer heat by splashing around in the kiddie pool that has a fountain.

Harbour Lights is located within driving distance of outlet malls, terrific theaters, live entertainment and golf courses.

Tricks and tips to get the optimal vacation property experience:

Find your best deal:

  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • To book the most suitable rental home for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your contract.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, keep an eye out for homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
