Booking the best rental experience:

Cost saving strategies:

  • To get the best value, consider shifting your family's Myrtle Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guides have offers and deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Planning and picking your Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. BLUE PEARL ocean front condo has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property owner before you book your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the owner's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To make certain that no damages are linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. message the rental manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Be respectful. Often, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget any personal items. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to drive future reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
