How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental home & When to go:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Book your Myrtle Beach rental home in the Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain money saving offers on local tours, shops, and attractions.
How to pick the best rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Select dates and maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Bluewater Resort 405 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible online. Otherwise, email the host before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you love, keep an eye out for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners require additional pet deposits and fees.
Advice for your stay:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To make certain that damages are not attributed to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas during check in. text the host right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
- At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
