Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

When to visit & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Reserve your vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Choosing and booking the rightvacation home:

  • Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Completely remodeled, 104 Brighton, has full access to all resort amenities!! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property manager before you book your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • Does your family require special amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • To make certain damages are not linked to your family's visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. text the property manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Upon check-out, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
