Prior guest, Jametra, July 2023, "This place was definitely BEAUTIFUL. I appreciate that there are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can savor the sunset and the sunrise. The balcony that faces the beach is roomy and we adored eating our meals out there. We were steps away from the beach, which is an absolute must for us."

"We really appreciated our stay. Great location, very clean, everything was just as described. We really enjoyed being able to see both the sun rise and set. Loved sitting out and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is very well supplied and made it painless to prepare meals. It was incredible to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay." Jamie, July 2022

Our top Vacation rental tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Myrtle Beach vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Choosing the best rental in Myrtle Beach:

  • Start by selecting your a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. WELCOME TO YOUR OCEAN OASIS - A VACATION TO REMEMBER! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you book the vacation property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

During your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and save the instructions to your phone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • To make certain damages are not attributed to your stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. text the host right away to relay any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific resource to find the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
