Prior guest, Jametra, July 2023, "This place was definitely BEAUTIFUL. I adore that there are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can savor the sunset and the sunrise. The balcony that faces the beach is cavernous and we appreciated eating our meals out there. We were steps away from the beach, which is an absolute must for us."
"We really adored our stay. Great location, very clean, everything was just as described. We really enjoyed being able to see both the sun rise and set. Loved sitting out and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is very well supplied and made it simple to prepare meals. It was phenomenal to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay." Jamie, July 2022

Vacation rental booking tips and tricks:
Get the best value:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. To find the best rental for your budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular Myrtle Beach attractions.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
How to pick the best vacation rental in the Myrtle Beach area:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. WELCOME TO YOUR OCEAN OASIS - A VACATION TO REMEMBER! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the host before you book the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your invoice.
- Does your group require particular amenities? Most websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
During your stay:
- Be sure you get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are useful if there is a dispute.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
