Prior guest, Jametra, July 2023, "This place was definitely BEAUTIFUL. I adore that there are balconies on both sides of the apartment so you can appreciate the sunset and the sunrise. The balcony that faces the beach is cavernous and we appreciated eating our meals out there. We were steps away from the beach, which is an absolute must for us."

"We really adored our stay. Great location, very clean, everything was just as described. We really enjoyed being able to see both the sun rise and set. Loved sitting out and looking at the ocean. The kitchen is very well supplied and made it painless to prepare meals. It was amazing to have beach chairs and umbrella to use. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay." Jamie, July 2022

How to find the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach rental home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Some property management companies offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

How to choose and book a perfect Myrtle Beach rental:

  • First and foremost, have your group select trip dates and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. WELCOME TO YOUR OCEAN OASIS - A VACATION TO REMEMBER! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking websites. If not, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is optimal for your vacation.
  • Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs applied to your agreement.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let crooks ruin your trip.
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to compel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
