Alexandra purchased this villa bc of the floor plan , there are only 5 on property, the 3 balconies are unique and cavernous. It is 1500 square feet. Were placed the 20 year old dark curtains and appreciate the solar shades. They are clean. We replaced the hideous carpet you still see in the marina inn .the HOA costs we pay are ridiculous so we need to have our UPTOWN villa rented . We adore direct bookings and make check in and out convenient. We are not on the rental program so we can keep our prices below the market. Family Animals are welcomed as long as we are aware. We have to inform security. They aren’t big on dog barking as everybody complains . We appreciate one nighttime visits. We are very interested in getting longer stays during the off season. Uptown is clean comfortable private and opulent. Intercostal marina golf yachts beach pools weights spas dinning jet skies sauna bars eateries, shuttle to beach in season, valet service concierge security kid friendly elderly friendly 4 th floor view motorcycle friendly washer and dryer ice minimal soaps towels lines included and cleaned by owners pillows and linens are refreshed and kept fresh. We g he ace a lot of pride in our product and hope you and yours have a great experience and return often. Stewart and Alexandra

Tips and Tricks to get the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To get the best value, consider changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Choose your dates and max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Great spring rates!Myrtle Beach’s BEST 2 bed river view,150sq’ GRAND DUNES RIVER has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find your ideal rental home.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your agreement.

Know before you go:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • Upon check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your holiday.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to inspire more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
