How to find the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. To book the best rental within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Booking websites usually offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Filter your search:
- Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and choose a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your family needs. Brigadune 2 BD/2BT O/F Luxury Resort, Pool, Sky & Sea Horizon Views-2025 Now has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property management company before reserving the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is best for your trip.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach beach you are crazy about, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are very helpful if there is a dispute.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many difficulties.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peaceful home life. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've never otherwise known about!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
- At departure, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
