Booking the best vacation rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines that include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

How to select the perfect vacation home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Start by having your group agree to a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Newly Added Palace Resort, Clean, Pools,Low Floor! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email or call the host before reserving your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, filter your search for a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you simply love, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .

During your stay:

  • Add the host's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent a lot of difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let burglars ruin your family vacation.
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. message the rental manager immediately to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious vacationers disrupting your life at home. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation home. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
